Dual LAN

Let me know if this works like I think it should. I put a static IP on one adapter say 10.1.10.2 and the other adapter to 192.168.1.2. Will the computer know which one to use for what ever program it needs? Like go to 192.168.1.1 for internet and 10.1.10.1 for CAD updates. (computer aided dispatch). I can get into more detail if necessary but it involves alot of routers.

it depends a lot on the setup but yes it will work, you will be connected to both networks.

Yes just need to make sure your gateway and dns is set correctly.

you only put a default gateway on one of the connections. (the internet connected one)

Make sure the subnet masks are correct.
