Dual HD4650's Good idea?

I have a Mini PC, an Antec P180 white mini to be exact, and a DFI LP Jr. 790GX motherboard and just picked up from newegg.com Dual HIS HD4650 512mb DDR2, Good buy? Now before your rant about buying a HD4830/HD4850, they only costed 80 bucks for both. In CF will these card be able to play most games decent settings? I noticed the cards dont have a CF Bridge so im wondering if they can be even Crossfired?

No, no, no.
You can get a single 4830 for $80 or less, easily.

The two 4650's are probably faster than a single 4830, but there's no way you should substitute a good single GPU with those two weak ones.

Well going buy reviews of HD4670's in CF they seem to either match or beat a single HD4850 and I guess with some Overclocking i could come close in Performance

seems like all the memory interfaces for the 4650 are 128-bit with ddr2 ram... I'd go for the the 4830 as well.

Much like the 9600GSO's with GDDR2, I think there still powerful if a bit bandwith lacking

But it's just best to go with a single card. The memory interface will kill it if you want to use it for anything with a decent res or AA.

then a single 4670 would work. next up a 4830 or a 4850 if like maxing out clear sky and such. there is no crossfire bridge on those cards anyways (that I could see)

I don't see a point of SLI/Crossfire a mid range card while you can get a mid high end card and you probably get the same performance. I say go get a 4850 and be done with it.

Considering u got 2 hd4670's for $80 and they perform as an hd4850 in xfire I'd say they'd be good for the money as you cant get an hd4850 for $80.

CAN you crossfire 4650? I thought that was the 4670 that had the crossfire capability . and I didn't see a crossfire bridge on that card you linked.

still for your 80 dollars I would get a 4830 and over clock it.
