I have a Gainward 6800GT golden sample and it has dual DVI but i have a CRT monitor and im using the DVI to VGA converter that came with it so im wondering if this changes the way my monitor works regarding refresh rates and performance of my video card. Can anyone give me some explanation on this subject... Thank you

the adaptor shouldn't make a difference for any of that. the dvi port sends both an analog and a digital signal out, so the adaptor is just physically converting the wiring to the correct plug shape

OH great....tx so much. When i opened the box and saw those 2 white dvi connectors i thought i got a wrong card but good thing they included a converter but i still feared if it would degrade my monitor perf.. Tx again for the good info....
