dual dvi agp, which one?

I just bought two dell 2005fpw widescreen flat panels (specs here: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...age=productlisting.aspx&instock=&refurbished= ) and I'm wondering what agp card I should be running to get the most out of the displays. I dont really game much, just some need for speed and HL2 on ocasion, but I currently dont have dual DVI and from what I read on these forums, its something I should upgrade to.

So basically, a quick search on the egg yeilds this as the cheapest: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814161115

Can anyone help me out here? Are there any dual dvi options with no fan on the hsf?

Could I do better with dual single dvi pci cards?

newegg is running a deal with PNY 6600GT for 100 right now..(might be OOS right now, but they will get more soon) that card has a Dual Link DVI and a Single Link DVI port. So you can even hook up an Apple 30 incher.
 
btw, nice panels, i was looking at the same panels....by christmas i want to have triple 2005FPWs :)...
 
Three?! That would be so great! Maybe if you already have two, you should get a 24... then you'd have a main screen of 24 and it would be flanked by two 20's... heh.

Anyway, yeah dell just had a deal... they were going for 350 w shipping/tax and all to michigan. Had to get em.

I dont see the card at newegg, and I dont see that its out of stock either... perhaps they are getting rid of agp stock?

BTW, I run dual xp 1500's on a tyan mp board. I bought too soon, of course, cause I cant overclock mine or anything, and I'm stuck running an out of date bios so that the xps will boot. How does yours overclock? Bios or some windows thingy? I cant wait for dual proc dual core systems to come down :O)
 
Definitely checkout the 6800 or 6600gt. You should find a pretty reasonable one, considering Nvidia has released its new line.
 
I like the idea of the card I linked above... some of the reviews seem to indicate that it can be unlocked... or something, but how or what the benefits are are still unclear for me.

Any other suggestions? I think thats the only 6800 on the egg for under 200.

I don't like the 2405, cause it's a Samsung Panel PVA/MVA. It's slower than advertised The 2005FPW is a LG-Phillips S-IPS panel. Just like the Apple 20 incher. All Apple Cinema Displays are S-IPS for a reason :)
