Dual Display + Trillian (Or AIM)

Hi I just recently got into Dual Display for my computer, but I was wondering, is there anyway for me to set it so that Trillian or Aim is displayed only on the secondary monitor? For example, whenever people IM me, it will pop up on the primary display. I was wondering if I can make it pop up on the secondary display instead everytime.

Move the window where you want it, close it, and it will pop up there in the future

(Maybe there's a better way of doing it but it works fine with Trillian)

yea i've already tried that. Trillian doesnt seem to save it for some reason. Whenever I click on view buddy info, it goes to the primary.

Try Ultramon.....it will allow you to select a default screen for all your programs....meaning if you want ALL programs to start on one screen you can do that. I fyou want Trillian to start on monitor #2 and you want Photoshop to start on #1 at all times....just tell it to do it.

When i had two monitors this programs made my life so simple. Always dividing the tasks to help me out.

how exactly would I do that with ultramon? Like make it decide which programs to open on which screen

It's a pretty simple program. If you can read, you'll be able to figure it out.

I use UltraMon, but Trillian still does whatever it wants. Some apps are not as multi-monitor aware as others. And there's nowhere in UltraMon to specify which apps open where.

Edit: I just tried opening up a chat window through Trillian, moving it to my 2nd monitor, then closing it, and when I opened it again it opened on the 2nd monitor, so I guess it works fine.

If nothing else what I did was set a hotkey for moving a window to the other display. When trillian wants to be dumb and open on my primary I just hit alt + m and it is on the other screen. I am so used to doing it that I dont even think about it anymore.
