dual display software

I know there is software/add-on type software to help people with dual-displays.
Like ATI has a hot button you can install to click one opened window, to jump to the other screen instantly.

Does anyone know of software I can use to control my 17" LCD while I game in my 20" LCD?

I want to be able to control things like WMP while I game, or maybe look for someone online while I am logged into a server.
Currently my 7800 GT will not let me click on my secondary display while in game, without exiting the game to desktop. The game doesn't close, it just acts like I have hit alt-tab.

Installed the latest NVIDIA drivers.

Any help is appreciated, otherwise I get to play the "key-word" game with a search engine. YAY!

:p

Most games lock the mouse to whichever monitor they are being played on. Even though you can still see what is going on on the other monitor, you will still have to alt-tab out of the game to be able to access it.

At least that is the way my setup works. I use Ultramon by the way.

I personally use a program called "Ultramon". Its an all in one program that does just about anything you could ever want it to for your dual monitors.

i installed the software, but no luck. I may have to check BF2 forums for a location of a .con file or something.

I will investigate and see what I can find out about changing that switch from a 1 to 0.

Wish me luck!

The software is nice. I like hot buttons for display changes.

Too bad I have to pay for it?????

hehehe

No luck still.

Found a forum stating that turning on windowed mode would eliminate the issue.

It does not.

This may just have to be a hack on the BF2 file system.
I dont see how any 3rd party program can determine what code from various games should do with mouse useage.
Therefore I believe this may only be done with a hack.

BTW - just to rant a little, WTF are developers thinking at EA?
They dont give native widescreen support, now I run into this?
Only a gazillion gamers have dual displays!
