Dual Display Maxxing Out CPU?

I just decided to hook up a second monitor that I had laying around, but now my cpu usage is at 100% even when I'm actively doing nothing. Why is this happening? I used NVidia's software to set up the dual display (set as dual view).

P4 2.4 cpu
1GB ram
19" CRT @ 1280 x 1024 - 32 bit color
17" CRT @ 1028 x 768 - 32 bit color
NVidia 6800

Any ideas?
 
yah dood thats way wrong, something is way messed up, you should not be having that sort of problem by just adding a second display, try testing it with only 1 display, if its still up that high then its obviously not the dual monitor setup
 
Look in your task manager, exactly which process is using all those cycles?
 
When I first set up the 2nd monitor, my system seemed really super sluggish. Well, whatever was causing that went away, but the task manager still says my cpu usage is at 100%. Reason? Folding@Home. I forgot I even had it set up on my computer. Everything is as it should be.
