At work I recently grabbed a second 190FP to run dual monitors. It's great and I love the extra space for my tools and utilites that I run. I have one glaringly obvious problem however. The colors and brightness do not match.

The video card is a 9800pro and I am using the Catalys 5.6 drivers with the Control Center. One monitor is connected via DVI, teh other is analog. The DVI does not allow any Contrast adjustment, while the analog does. So one monitor is yellow and murky, the other is blue and bright at the default settings. I have spent hors tweaking the monitor colors through the Dell controls and the Catalyst Control Center with no proper result.

So my question is, does anyone know of a free utility that will allow both monitors to detect each other and provide a single adjustment, or a utility that will allow for better color and contrast control for each monitor individually? I am currently using multimon, but there does not appear to be any way to make that adjusment there either.

I would say try and find a DVI->VGA Adapter and then maybe you can mess with it some more. Good Luck
