i was just wondering what temps people with dual cores are getting in their SFFs? also what HSF you are you using. open to all types of SFFs.

my opty 165 @ 2.6ghz 9*290 1.4v.
room temp: ~18c
cpu idle: 35-38c
cpu load: 41-45c
HSF: stock hsf w/ 80mm blue led fan

Athlon X2 3800+ , Silverstone SG01 Case (non-Evolution)

Anywhere from 38-42 C or so idle, and around 45 under load

X2 3800 @ 2.6 1.425 volts in Hoojum Cubit 5 case with Shuttle SN95G5 board.

Idle : 34 - 36
Load: 44 - 46

That is with stock Shuttlle hsf.

SN25P Opty 165 at 2.5

ICE set to maintain 50C under load so it gets quiet when not in use.

my opty 165 @ 2.5ghz 10*250 1.325 V.
room temp: ~22c
cpu idle: 38-42c (with fan silent) (subtract 10 for fan on)
cpu load: 48-52c (with fan silent) (subtraact 10 for fan on)
HSF: stock hsf w/ 80mm smart fan 2 on a double rheostat I rigged at like 2 or 3V

SN25P with Opty 165 OCed to 2.25GHz, idling around 28-32C load from 38-46C. Using Speedfan (Minimal control, just cools CPU when it goes above 50).

SN95G5 4200+ X2 between 35 and 40 mostly.

MD

4400+ (2.36ghz, 215htt x 11mult)
Idle: 27-29C
Load: 37C

yeah, i'm watercooled.

SG01 Non-Evo
Very old Antec SmartPower 350Watt PSU
Opty 165 @ 2.4ghz 1.375V
Thermaltake Blue ORB II
Idle: 43-46C
Load: 55C-59C

Pretty bad here :( Because of this thread I just purchased a Enermax Libery 400W for the 120MM Fan. The Smart Power has a small 80MM fan and I think that's why my temps are so high. And I decided to go ahead and purchase the FX121 Crossflow fan for the case too. Hope these temps drop 3-5C!

Opteron 165 1.5v
FSP Bluestorm 500
Stock AMD Copper Heatsink (3000rpm fan)
Aspire X-Qpack
Biostar Tforce6100-939

Idle 28c-31c
load 39c-44c

qpack
4400+ X2 Toledo Zalman 7000B-cu
biostar tforce 6100-939
evga 7800gt
dual seagate satas 160GB each
500w Liberty (with the fan pointing down, exhausting air)

I've replaced the fan as well in the case, but I didn't notice much change in the temps in the case, just quieter though.

CPU (according to casefan and sisoft sandra):
28-29C idle
38-39C extended load

Ambient in case is coming up as about 3 degrees cooler according to the temp sensors on the QPack. I'm not overclocking at this time but I used to think those temps were high until I started reading this page.

I built another qpack over the weekend for a friend using the DFI board... the ability to control fans (you can only read the fan speeds and temps on the biostar board :( ) and the ease of overclocking really make me wish I had bought that board instead, but my biostar does what I need it to. Maybe I'll upgrade on the next generation to get the features that I like on the DFI board.

I'm very happy with my BIostar board and Nexus Fan controller :)

The DFI has good fan control options you say? Thats good to hear, very good :)

I had the Biostar once and yes it did lack in that dept.

Aspire X-Qpack (modified fans + watercooled)
Enermax Liberty 500 watt
AMD Athlon X2 4400+ @ 2.7ghz 1.525v
Dangerden TDX Copper
Idle: 23c
Load: 27c
ambient: 21c
Idle OC: 27c
Load OC: 34c

I -really badly- need a 600 watt psu that fits in this case. Comp shuts down from strange reboots all the time. Though it can prime95 for 12 hours stable and memtest 86 for the same time, It cant play through the X3 rolling demo without rebooting. . I'm quite happy with the OC, however. Adding another 120mm fan to the top of the Qpack -really- reduced temperatures.
