I just got a AMD64 X2 processor and I was wondering how to get it to use both cores to 100%.

Right now it only uses 50% of each core, and I have the settings to use 100% of the processor.

you are using 100% it is the way windows does things. Each core has 50% of the total power.

Might I suggest looking at the SMP client though. I like that much more then running two instances atm.

I am running the graphical, but I would like to run 2 at once so I will get the console version
 
I think that there was some mis-interpretation... 50% of each core only counts as 100% if its on an HT processor. For this instance, you'd need to run two separate instances of F@H, and for that we recommend the console client. Instructions for the setup are here:

That'll get you two clients going, using 100% of each processor. There's also SMP as had been mentioned though, which is good stuff, you just gotta make sure you can hit the deadlines.

The graphical version works fine on single-core machines, but it cannot fully use your dual core machine.

If you want two instances on the same computer, use the console version. There is a flag where you tell the program to use core 0 or core 1 or something like that.

But the SMP client will use two, or even four cores all at once. You must have a modern machine... a modern dual core machine to use the SMP. There is an SMP for windows and for linux.

That is false. If you want to run 2 (two) console versions of the uniprocessor variety on a dual core machine (substitute 2 with number of real (ie: not virtual) cores) then you just have to make sure you install them in seperate directories, and make sure that the machine id on each one (under advanced settings) is set to different numbers. You can have upto 16 uniprocessor clients installed on one machine.

You also have to run the client with the "-local" flag to make sure that (from what I understand) the clients don't mix and corrupt data.

Or now recently, you can use the SMP client. The SMP client is in beta right now, and because of that currently it's optimized for quad-core systems. Many dual core systems can return the work units within the deadline easily, but some AMD's with low cache amounts may have trouble with the "tougher" workunits.

FWIW: My AMD Athlon 1800+ MP (2) duallie box was able to do the workunits *just in time* only if my computer was unused for the time (ie: 100% F@H). I'm sure on the chunkier workunits I wouldn't even be able to complete them :(

There is also a GPU client which you can install to append to an uniprocessor client which is smart because the GPU client needs a core to feed it.
 
Also .net needs to be installed along with a password which no one tells you about
