Hey guys I'm finally on a dual core and I'm trying to prime it but when I open two prime95 and setting there respective affinity in the prog and taskmanager. I can't seem to run two blended tests. One core would max and and the other seems not to go full load but to lag. When I mix blended with another torture test then it maxes the cpu usage.

You need to separate programs of it.

Make two folders , or try SuperPI as i have told you.

Same happens to me... I run 3 seperate Prime95 threads... 2 Small and 1 Large FFT... Stresses EVERYTHING.

If you're running three then they will just be fighting each other for CPU cycles. I would suggest just downloading the latest version of SP2004 which is called Orthos and it detects if you have dual core and runs two instances within a single window.

That's also a good suggestion. Orthos is a great program.

Although to be honest I usually get higher CPU temps while running the 3 instances than 2 instances of Small FFTs and some sort of 3D stimulation (like the ATI tool window or soemthing...)

Well, I'm priming my 165 w/ sp2004. I'm hoping to hit 3ghz on air some how.....I gotta play w/ mobo voltage also becuase of the high ht.
