I just bought a new computer and i wanted to get it so i could upgrade it and keep it for at least 5 years. I have an intel 630 3.0Ghz 2MB L2 i know this is the new "Pin less" sockets where the pins are on the board. my question is will the newer Dual Core chips use this same pin config or will i have to get a new mobo when i need to upgrade to dual core?

Dual Core Pin Configurations?

I believe the dual core will have an LGA 775 pin configuration. Your problem will be the chipset. Officially, I don't think the 915/925 support dual core or EMT64 (however a bios update might be possible). You'll need to have a 945/955 board or the nFORCE when it comes out.
