Dual Core Pentium M...?

Dual Core Pentium M is Codenamed Yonah
It will be out in Q1 2006

Prices have already been announced out there.

from what I understand yonah is going to be for laptops and low power devices (SFF).

So im surious what intel is going to use for their gaming cpus, it must be faster than the yonah because I cant see intel putting a faster cpu in laptops then desktops.

What I would like to see coming out from Intel is a dual core Pentium M to compensate the HT capability of the P4 in regard of multitasking, coupled with a motherboard with all mothern stuff like a 1066FSB, PC3200 or DDR2, dual channel. I think that would be a serious competitor to the X2. For now, Intel is beat this round but I hope/expect they will come out with something interesting in the future.

I dont see HT doing a whole lot on the pm core. HT takes advantage of latency, there is going to be far less latency in a pm than a p4
