I dled the dual core hotfix; do I need to do the registry tweak described here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896256 ?

I'm confused b/c it shows how to "disable the new power state policy behavior" and I'm under the impression that the new power state behavior is the one that's better suited for dual core. Will I get better performance with the tweak or without it?
