dual core different CPU speeds?

Windows lists my CPU speed as E8400 @ 3.00GHZ 3.6GHZ. I have it overclocked to 3.6.
My question is are both CPU's at 3.6 or is one CPu at 3.0 and one at 3.6? Is this even possible to have two different CPU speeds?

Speed of cores across a CPU will be the same.
System properties of more current versions of Windows will identify the processor, and then list the actual speed.

its shows both speeds because it shows the default speed, then the actual speed, but yeah both cores are running at the same speed.

It shows the CPU identification string (CPUID) and then the operating speed.
