Dual core CPU and power consumption

There's a good atricle on Intel's new dual core cpu with a good graph on power consumption -
A topic brought up here frequently.

It looks like the system may use 300+ watts at full load, which compared to running 2 computers is not to bad.
Of course the chip alone costs $1,000.
