Im going to get a computer soon but i havent made a choice on my gpu and im thinking of getting a 6800 ultra and then upgrade to dual sli or should i wait for the Ati X850.

I think waiting will be your best bet. The motherboards for sli are/will not be matured for a while yet.

Who knows? Maybe the X900 will be out by then... :)
 
well how long is a wait because iv been waiting a while

sorry iv just been waiting for months because new things just keep coming and coming over and over when willit stop :p :mad:
 
i say wait 1 more month...because AMD will start 2nd generation SOI process on the 90nm chips...and they claim 24% improvement on top speed...that means overclocking to upto 3.2Ghz!!!!
