I am planning to dual boot xp 32 and vista 64 on a partitioned 300Gb raid drive. I have tried this dual boot in the past when I installed xp first. However when I put vista 64 dvd in the drive xp could not read it so I had to install by changing the boot drive in bios. This was annoying as I had to do this every time I wanted to use a different OS. Does anyone know the order in which to do this to get the windows OS selection screen in boot up?

XP first. I am dual booting with xppro 32 and vista ultimate 64. You arent supposed to try and install vista from within XP you have to boot to it. Just make a partition first and then install to the other partition. It will use the vista boot loader when you are done.
