Lately, I've been thinking about switching to a distro of Linux. I was considering Ubuntu since I've heard it was fairly n00b friendly.
I was at Best Buy yesterday and found a Seagate SATA 320GB HDD for $60 retail and since I thought it was too good of a deal to pass up, I got one. I could use it for back up, but I already have a 400GB HDD that I use for storage and I could just back up my files on that if needed.
Now my main question is, would I be able to install Ubuntu on the HDD I just got and Dual Boot it with my main HDD that runs XP Pro? I'm not sure if I want to partition my main HDD and have both on it. I would if it would be better overall, but I was hoping to use one HDD for Windows and another for Ubuntu.
Would it be easy to Dual Boot from separate HDDs?
The rig I want to do it on is in my sig.
