Hello folks!
I hope you all can help me out. Time has come for me to finally build a new PC to put this 6 year old AMD to rest.
I've been jonesing for Battlefield for too long. A few other games have also caught my interest.
But the thing is, I also surf a LOT, do some stuff in Adobe CS ( going to be a lot more photography stuff), work in Solidworks, and overall feel the need for expanded real-estate. I currently have a Viewsonic PF790. It is GIGANTIC in terms of space it occupies and it is pretty heavy.
Can anyone argue more for one or the other? Are there some facts or details that I am overlooking? They would both come out to almost the same price ( I don't really want to spend more) and seem to have several satisfied users. The one thing I don't like about the dual wield LCDs is the fact that I would have the bezel divide the view during movies and what-not.
Is there some sort of alternative that I am missing? I was thinking about Samsungs but was told Dell was the better deal.
Any help would be much appreciated. This is the first build from scratch that I will be doing, so please bear with me. I've been trying to figure out how much I am going to spend on this build over the last few days so I can get on it ASAP. Want to get this thing done over Spring Break or pretty damn close.
