Dual 1U PowerSupply alternative?

Does anyone know if it would benefit me as an overclocker to run my motherboard off of one 230 watt 1U powersupply and all my other peripherals on another 230 watt 1U powersupply? This question has been nagging me for quite some time. Any help is greatly appreciated.

none whatsoever, just the hassle of wiring up the two power supplies so that they boot at the same time.

Also, 2x 1u are going to generate more heat and cost more than 1 good 300-400w PSU
