[?] Dual 1366 system Ram distribution

I have few Dual 1366 system and I have few scenario on memory placement..

1) can each CPU have unbalance amount of ram distribution but same memory channels ? {i.e CPU1 = 3x4GB, CPU2 = 3x2GB]
2) can each CPU have same amount of ram distribution but uneven memory channels ? {i.e CPU1 = 3x4GB, CPU2 = 6x2GB, each CPU has same amount of 12GB Ram]
3)can the triple channel be downgrade to dual? or the only fall back to triple is single channel?

Answer is yes to all 3 questions.

You can run Triple Channel with 3 Dimms, Dual Channel with 2 Dimms, or Single Channel with 1 Dimm...

For Dual Channel, you just need to populate 2 of the DIMM Slots that are used for Triple Channel Operation..It shouldn't matter which 2 out of the 3 you pick, but the MB might be picky so you might need to play around with it..Hope this helps.
