can someone please explain this to me..

so i have an ocz powerstream 600.. i bought this because i remember reading somewhere how some person was watercooling his computer and said that its nice to have the computer running on one rail and the WC running on another.. so it doesnt interrupt it or something like that..

so i bought it thinking, i have watercooling, i want sli later in the future so i could use 600w of power.. i open the package thinking there will be two separate plugs or whatever so i could separate the power, but it's not.. then i hear that the ocz ps does not have dual vga thingies but needs an adapter..

i guess i thought that the led fans wouldnt bug me so much, but dang, they are SUPER annoying.. so i was thinking of changing out the fans for panaflo SUPER DUPER quiet ones, but i see that it voids the 5 year warranty.. BAH!

so since my psu has dual 12v rails, can someone please explain to me what it's good for? so i could be happy about at least ONE thing other than its looks?

sorry for the rant and thanks in advance!

isolated dual rails where adopted by formfactors.org which maintains the ATX12V spec from the Server System Infrastructure (SSI) standard (EPS12V)
to isolate fluctuations that drives & fans can cause a rail from the CPU, since CPU switched from being powered off the +5V rail to the +12V rail where drives and fans have always been

Intel is the driving force behind both bodies
and the EPS12V spec has evolved further to 3 or 4 +12V rails (common & split plane variety)
