DTS Connect on PCI Cards

I see HDA is coming out with sound cards that have DTS Connect. How is this different than Dolby Digital Live? See the link below:

I just ordered my DDL card and I am starting to think that I should have waited.

The DTS cards allow for more bandwidth for the compression.

I plan to hook my computer into a fairly low end system. Would I notice a difference?

Do you notice a difference between Dolby and DTS movies?

I cannot say that I have paid attention when one or the other is playing -- I go to very few movies.

I do know that I cannot listen to music that is offered over the internet. I am assuming this is due to the fact that too much is lost when the music is compressed.

Then try a DVD with both options and compare.
