I have a shuttle running on windows xp sp2. Today i unplugged my usb cable for my plantronics DSP-500 headset.. and when i plugged it back in.. it cannot detect it. i tried switching usb ports... but that is not the problem.. since other usb devices work on the usb ports. help please?

Did you try every possible usb port? Try plugging it into the back also. Another thing you can try is unplugging the other devices and changing where they were usb wise. Also try occupying the old headphone slot with another usb device.

Lastly, try the headphones in another computer and make sure nothing burnt out.

tried everything u stated.. except for trying on another computer.. gonna try that later

i tested it on another computer and it doesnt detect it either... i would RMA it but they say that their replacement programs dont include DSP's.. im never buying plantronics again.
