DSL constantly resetting. Help?!

They went outside and fiddled with my box more and gave me a T2200H. If this doesn't fix it there going to start redoing lines i guess.

this new modem shows attainable line rates and my power though. is the power for downstream too high?]

when he hooked up to my line at one point his machine did flash with errors though.

Are you plugging the cpe into the same circuit as the washer?

no clue yet. I was given a T2200H today and the guy tightened our wires when he saw errors on the line, and its been rock solid during this thunderstorm ive been having. I am still getting near end crc/far end crc but there incrementing really slow. I've got 138 near end in 9hours and 13 far end crc.

I have 29774 near end RS FEC, but I was told that these are corrected errors and don't matter much? he said that if the new modem+wire tightening didn't work the next thing he'll do is run completely new lines from the DSLAM

also we had a air conditoner plug that must've burnt a wall socket recently because we pulled the plug out and it was all black underneath with one of the prongs completely black and broken into the socket, we changed the socket/wiring/faceplate and gave the AC a new connector, could this have caused anything before? Somehow the AC was running with the prong broken o_o

Bad ground and being plugged into the same circuit as any heavy equipment can both cause problems.

You might want to check that out.

last 48hours i've had only 2 dc's. My dsl was synced at 16383 and 13db snr but eventually dropped to 9 and sat at 9 all day. I had to reset power to house and it synced to 15308 with 12db and it's been rock solid on my snr graph all day. Whatever was causing dc's last week nonstop has mostly dissapeared. I also isolated the modem away from electronics and the router too.

I was at the monthly union meeting last night.

Showed the pics to one of our installers.

He suggested putting an external filter at the NID and running all new cat 5 lines.

He was not at all surprised you were experiencing issues.

On the other hand, if you have been working ok might want to avoid touching anything.
