HI All -

I'm currently using a PVR-150 to watch some cable TV on my computer. Are there any other alternative TV viewing programs besides Dscaler/WinTV? I'm having a hard time stretching my video to my widescreen LCD.

Media Player Classic allows for aspect ratio tweaking as I recall... are you saving the files to mpeg2(4) format or just watching live TV?

If it's live TV - no idea.

Just TV.

The problem is that Dscaler stretches out to my widescreen, but the audio is not in sync.
WinTV works perfectly, but it doesn't stretch appropriately.

I normally don't recommend cross posting but the fellas in our htpc forum deal with these issues all the time.

Maybe try searching or posting there?

sorry about that.

Odd - I thought I had posted in the HTPC forum. Would it be possible to move this thread there??

sagetv, meedio and beyondtv are the best commercial packages. mediaportal and gb-pvr woul be free alternatives.

There should be stickies about this in the htpc forum.
