I'm about to throw myself out a window.....
Fresh XP SP2 install.
USB mouse was working fine.
I only updated THREE things:
#1 - From the Gigabyte CD - Installed the Marvel Ethernet drivers to get Internet access.
Worked great!
#2 - Went to Nvidia and downloaded the latest 93.71 drivers for my GeForce 7300 LE card (this system is not my primary graphics system.... thus the crappy card.. )
#3 - Went to Gigabyte website and downloaded and installed latest Chipset INF drivers.
Rebooted.
Once in Windows, my mouse will not work; i.e. the little red LED does not light up.
I confirmed that USB Mouse is enable in BIOS... and I notice on boot that the red LED is lit on the mouse... but once in Windows... nothing!
WTF!??
