ok so i have 5-5-5-12-T2 corair ram i know which settings to adjust except for the T2 ,which one is it?

thanks

40 people have read your question but you have wrote it in a way where nobody can answer it , could you be more specific , please.

Also its in a wrong place cos if Eclipse saw this he could have done something about it.

ok were should i post this so he sees it?

ram timimings are 5-5-5-12-T2 i know how to adjust in the bios the settings for values 5-5-5-12 but i dont understand which parameter in this bios is for the "T2" value.

T2 = command rate. chris is right though, unless you're looking to overclock, auto does the trick ;)

btw, i'm not familiar with "DS3". if it's an intel chipset motherboard, there is no command rate option, it's forced to 2T no matter what.

ok thanks.
it is an in intel 965p chipset based board GA-965P-DS3 by gigabyte.
i thought i should find where to configure this timing too since leaving the ram timings on auto when overclocking doesnt work so well.

That said read Eclipse'e post on overclocking and how its done , basically you are seeing how much more both the ram and cpu can be pushed and then synchronising the both , CPU fsb Max and Ram speed Max , its a art which needs great understanding and dedication.
