After a bout of World In Conflict, I noticed that my computer ( C2D E6400, 8600GTS, WinXP Pro) was "stuttering" in 3D video. It is very slight, I can *almost* dismiss it, but more than 1 other person has confirmed that there is indeed an issue. It really only seems to drop a couple of frames, just henough to make the video jerk every couple of seconds. I ran HDR demo, whic I have used for a long time as a standard benchmark, to confirm it was not just WIC. Same symptoms. I am running the latest directx, and the latest nvidia drivers. I also tried disabling power management on my processor to no avail. It does not seem to be tearing either. I also ran dxdiag's tests, and it does the same thing with all rendering interfaces (dx7-9).
Any Ideas?
EDIT: I also have no reason to doubt my powersupply, which is usually a culprit in these matters, it is a < 4 month old corsair 550W
