So I am pretty sure i did something to fry my Mobo as I cant get it to post, I've done everything i can think of. Tried it out of the case, bare as I can get it, video and only one stick of ram. Reset the bios via button and by taking the battery out. Ive tried only one stick of ram in each slot nothing makes a difference. Even tried a new video card, new out of the box new, and I still get no post no video no beeps, nothing. all the fans turn on but nothing else happens,


So now resigning myself to needing a new mobo, I was looking at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138102


So anyone have any suggestions on fixing the current board, or suggestions for a new board?
Specs are in the sig, Any other info let me know.
 
I looked at the biostar and abit board.My son runs the biostar 560 a2+ board and its very good but I chose the abit ax78 and what a great board it is .O/clocks well and bios is alot easier to use than the biostar...also the 4 phase pwm with a heatpipe cooler on it were a selling point for me..all i can say is im thrilled with my choise of the abit ax78...reviews on it are also very good...Its one of those decisions that which ever one you choose ,you really cant loose...I like the way abits bios lets you add voltage in exactly the amount you want to add like 1.33r 1.39 or 1.42.....biostar is like startup and then .012,.036 .057 .087 its like you have to do a calculation every time you want to add voltage....if im at 1.32v and want to go to 1.36v i just choose 1.36v and dont have to do a calclation to see how much a .018v is how much more on top of 1.32v...any way its just a better and easier bios to use on the asus board....good luck on deciding it took me 2 weeks to make up my mind.....
