Droid

The clock display is way to bright to use as an alarm clock in the multimedia dock. Even in night mode it lights up a room at night.

yes it is. i just like it because its better than fussing with a cord before bed. just plop it in the dock and you have a nice alarm clock. i leave the light off.

On Froyo there is actually an option to manually dim the screen when docked. The font color on the clock is set to auto switch to a faint lime green with the rest of the screen blacked out

Jodiuh, I've been spending a lot of time on various droid forums and have never run across anyone with problems that are even remotely on your scale.
Oh yeah, forgot to update this post and mention that CHANGING THE ROUTER W/ ANOTHER MODEL completely fixes the page cannot be displayed because you're a n00b error.

Laugh at me.

Did she change the default settings for texts? By default the Droid only saves 200 texts per contact, perhaps she changed this to a higher number and thus it started freezing..

I have mine set to 400 and it never caused freezing. What I find is that if I let a thread run over the limit too long (where the phone removes old ones to display new ones), suddenly the phone will delete all the text threads I have. Whoever this happened too, have you had masses of texts, or one specific especially overtaxed thread?
