Droid users, I have a question

I got the Droid during Thanksgiving weekend and the phone been great. However, for the past month or so, its been having a hard time making phone calls or receiving them. When someone calls me, it will ring, but when I answer it says there is a connection, however, there is no voice thats being transmitted or heard. When I try call them back, it say its ringing but it wont even make the ringing noise. I end up having to restart my phone to get it working again. Very annoying, however, I get text messages and data just fine.

Anyone else experience these issues? Thinking of going to the Verizon store sometime soon and swap it for a new one, just making sure this isn't a widespread/unheard of problem.
 
I would definitely take it to Verizon to check out.

I've had mine since Christmas and haven't experienced anything like that since I've had it. I also scour Droid forums constantly looking for new stuff to do with it and haven't heard of that issue elsewhere so I'm pretty sure it's not common with these phones.

Try to change it to speaker during the call. Probably won't make a difference, but just in case.
 
Time for a replacement. Too bad you are outside of the new-phone window, you will get a refurb now. Not always a bad thing though, seems refurbs can in ways be better as they are forced to closely examine the phone and do a thorough test of it.
 
there are some apps that slow the phone down and interfere. One that I found to be unhelpful was Advanced Task Killer
