I'm pretty sure that the answer to this one is SOL, but is there anyway to recover drm-ed wma files if a user switches mobos?

Also, does anybody know if Age of Empires (not sure which version) uses some funky kind of copy protection?

I haven't looked at this system yet, but the guy swears he has uninstalled and reinstalled AoE and it isn't working. Basically his mobo borked, and the previous tech just replaced the board and put the old hard drive on it. He's running with '98. So far, these are the only problems he's noticed (thank god he's not using XP!).
