I'm building a new computer and finally got everything put together including 2 Hard drives (a Samsung 300gig and a WD 160 gig) and Vista installation is telling me no drivers are detected.

I searched samsungs website and found nothing and neither drive came with a CD, where do you get the drivers?

Its looking for SATA controller drivers, not hard drive drivers. They come with your motherboard.

Its probably telling you no drives are detected....

what type of board are you using?

These are chipset drivers for your motherboard to enable the SATA ports. What motherboard do you have? My nForce4 sees my SATA drives without a problem.

go to your mobos website, download the raid/sata driver, put it on a floppy/flash drive, when windows says "press f6 for 3rd party raid driver" press it, and when it shows your drives not being there you press a key, select the driver, and your set.
