I have a Creative Audigy 1 model number 0090, its the 1st series ever made not Gamer or MP3 version. I have been trying to find Creative drivers for 2 weeks for it but haven’t been able to find anything. I tried some drivers from Compaq that wouldn't install because it didn't detect the card correctly as well as trying to download from various websites but to no avail.

I have been using KX Project drivers for the past 2 years on the card and they have been working fine up until World of Warcraft. I want my EAX and sound quality back for playing it. KX sounds horrible in WoW especially noticeable when I charge or do a fast movement. Everything sounds really flat and dull with harsh transitions.

I don't have the original driver CD anymore; since this card is over 4 years old I ended up throwing it away last year since I was using KX. Do I need the original CD to install or where else can I find something that will work for me?

I attached a picture since other people have said they have never seen a card like it before and thought it might help you guys figure out what I can do to use it properly. Notice it doesn’t have the gold connectors like most Audigy’s do. In the top right corner of the card it shows the model number as SB0090.

i have that same card and i was wondering does it really support 5.1 surround
cause i have a front speaker port and rear speaker port the others are the mic and digital outputs

5.1 cards do this all the time, some of your other ports become your center and subwoofer channels.

either that or the aux-in. It should be in the manual somewhere.

I don't mean for this to sound like being rude...it's just that I don't own an Audigy 1, so I can't be certain which jack will become what.

Stunna – what drivers are you using for your card?

Gorankar – I checked out the auto update and the LS drivers. Both of them require me to have the drivers that came off the CD which I no longer have. Is there a website out there that has these CD drivers? I can’t find them on Creative’s website anywhere.

I am using the ones that came with the cd
I figured it out
the center/sub channel is also the digital out channel
I can send you the files if you want
just let me know how you want it sent
