i just got my nf7-s in today, i was wondering if i should dl drivers or just use the ones i've got.

i plan on overclocking eventually, but not for a week or two at least. thnaks

I would get the latest drivers and BIOS version, the reason they release updated stuff is because it's better...

I personally wouldn't risk flashing the BIOS unless you need to. YOu can kill your brand-new board doing that. But defintly get the new nvidia system drivers.

what exactly is flashing bios? just installing new drivers?

The bios is the set of options that controls motherboard features, it appears when you hit Delete upon booting up. That's what you'll need to mess with when you overclock. With the NF7-S it's really easy to update, just download a program from the Abit website and it updates it for you. You don't even have to use a boot disk or do any manual labor (typing) like you used to have to do in the dark ages.

Worst case scenario is that you ruin your BIOS chip by accidentally turning off your PC while it's flashing, or flashing during a thunderstorm or something stupid like that. The motherboard lives, and you get a new BIOS chip or send it in for "repair".
