"Attention - Guru3D Driver Sweeper has been discontinued as such you will not find any download links here any longer."

uhhhh, really? but I think I need it...why did they do this??

It hasn't been needed in some time. I've not had problems upgrading from one driver version to the next using the basic uninstaller. This is for both AMD and NVIDIA cards and even includes going back and fourth between the two.

I just ran through the exact same dilemma 30 minutes ago. Needed to clean off some corrupted drivers on a users PC at work and couldn't find it on Guru. From what i read they dropped it because of Adware installers in the setup. Just used 3.6 and unchecked all the additional BS and didn't have a problem.

I think both AMD and nVidia offer "clean install" options now as well, if you feel the need to wipe out everything before a new install.

Thanks for the replies

Yeah Dan, I have been having really good luck just clicking through the updates as well, until now. Been trying to get a hybrid setup going with a GTX285 in with CF 6950s but have not been able to enable PhysX or fold on the nVidia card. Got it screwed around to the point that CCC would not enable CF anymore. Figured it was time to pull back and nuke it from orbit...the only way to be sure.

I was looking at those newer versions on other sites, they sketched me out...looks like a BS malware GUI thing targeted at the unwashed masses, not the "run under safe mode" utility I remember from back in the day.
