Driver problems on gateway 7405 laptop (ATI)

I cleaned out my older omegas, and once i did that I installed the ati 5.1 catalysts using dhmod to get it to work on a laptop. When I restart, the screen goes black and the machine restarts itself. I get this problem a lot, and the only way I can fix it is if I restore to a much earlier point. I don't know what the problem is, should I have reinstalled my AGP driver before installing the new catalysts?
 
I got this error when I restarted and went into safe mode. Here is the file it's related to:
