Driver issues

I have a PNY Geforce 5200 Ultra in the Abit NF7-s v2.0. Windows installs and everything, then when I install the video card driver after the win2k boot screen it freezes and the screen turns black the end. I've tried guru3d drivers and nvidias, both do the same. I ever tried different monitors!! I put the video card into another computer and same thing. You guys think the card is bad or what?

I had the same problem with my new install of W2K with an FX5200 and NVIDIA drivers. Every time I installed the drivers after installing W2K it crashed and I had to reinstall. Turns out that W2K doesn't seem to like the drivers, at least SP1 didn't. This worked for me...run all Windows updates, most importantly SP4, before you install the video card drivers. I did that and it worked flawlessly.

Although if you are getting the same crashes on a different computer you may have to RMA...
