driver installing problem (ati)

i have a 9600xt, but when i try to install the driver this happens:

7-2_xp_dd_41238 - the same problem
7-1_xp_dd_40211 - the same problem
4.5 from the old cd - the same problem but in french lol
im running win xp sp2, i already tried driver cleaner and cat-uninstaller, tried in vga mod and safe mode, the same happens all the time, help :>

loool never mind, i fixed this installing .net framework 2.0, makes completely non sense, and it didnt say anything about framework needed, wtf

This is from another forum, but might help:

"Instead of being a .Net error message, it turned out to be from my Catalyst Control Center application. I uninstalled all my ATI drivers and Catalyst Control Center, and then re-installed them. Apparently .Net 2.0 needs to be installed before the ATI upgrade is installed."
