Drive racks?

Hi. I plan on building a case, and I am wondering if there is anywhere I can buy the internal hardware of a case, such as drive racks (5.25 and 3.5) and mobo trays. The mobo tray probably can be salvaged from another machine, but I'd prefer to buy a drive rack. Can anyone link me to this?

Thank you, that's just what I was looking for. Although, at those prices, I think I would rather buy a cheap ladder to jump off of! How did you find that?

I'm kinda pissed at Mountain Mods, myself.

Asked 'em for dimensional drawings, they said they don't give 'em to customers. Well gee, thanks. So I'm supposed to drop $100+ on two pieces of stamped steel without being able to tell if they'll even fit in my case?
Much safer to scavenge parts from el-cheapo clone cases.

That's what I'm thinking, although a motherboard tray might be hard to do without.

Silver PCs has Lian Li parts, 8 pages worth. Cheaper than Mountain Mods.

Yep, knew there were some vendors that sold LiLi parts as well, I just didn't know any of them off the top of my head.

Decker87: MountainMods is one of a very short list of suppliers of individual case components like this. Basically, LianLi is the other one.

I say Screw 'em all, I'll make my own...geez...$30 for a screw-on drive rack...

Isn't that a replacement for a removeable hard drive rack? I was hoping for something that was meant to be screwed on, not bolted or hooked on - basically what mountain mods has, but they suck. Thanks for the linkies, if I run out of old cases to salvage racks from, I'll try them LiLi replacements.

If you get that one, don't forget the Lian-Li stand-offs as well.

QFT. I got hte Lian Li mobo tray, (very nice tray), and didn't knwo they were different stand-off than standard square ATX. Man, that set me back a couple of weeks waiting on that stuff. Spend the $1.50 or so and get the stand-offs while you're shopping there.

BTW, Mountain Mods: HOLY $#%^ !!!! Who on Earth needs a NINE BAY HDD holder for a standard ATX case? I mean, seriously. If you're building one of THEIR cases, yeah. They're super-sized. Most standard cases have 4 or 5, maybe 6 if you look. Crap man, those are great for a storage server, but that's it.
