A few days ago XP stopped booting on my computer. :( I dug out an old 2gb drive and put a fresh install of XP on that, hoping I could then access my old drive (100gb WD) and burn everything to DVD.

Not so simple. When I hookup the old drive as a slave, the new install of XP is very, very slow. It detected the bad drive, but if I try to open it I get an error. I have alot of important stuff in there. :( :(

Are there any programs that might let me access the drive long enough to burn some things to DVD?
