Drive mounting

So question:

Any benefit to having the HD mounted at a 90degree angle? or some other weird way like some of the Silverstone cases?
The biggest benefit that I can see in any case is to have a pull out HD cradle, like in a P183. But some cases that have 90 degree turned drives have that too (Lian Lis)
