Drive is not ATAPI compatible? Error

Everytime I boot up the 2nd system in my sig when it detects the drives I get 2nd master drive is not ATAPI compatible. And it will load up windows and not detect the CDROM, I've tried changing the configuration via the cmos to auto detect to just CDROM but it still doesn't work, khypermedia KHCRW482448 :(
