Hey guys, I am working on a case mod and having a really tough time with this metal on a case. It is a lot thicker than I am used to working with and is TAKING FOREVER!

Any idea what kind of cut off wheels I should use? Thanks for any advice.

A dremel is a tiny tool, its going to take a while.

Instead of the standard paper thin cutoff wheels you can buy fiberglass reinforced ones http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-426B-4-Inch-Reinforced-Cut-Off/dp/B000PDWEDS/ref=pd_sim_hi_5 These will cut much more smoothly and won't shatter like the thin ones will.

Or you can buy these metal reinforced ones http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FBLRVA

Quickest way, besides a plasma cutter, would be a hacksaw blade for a jigsaw. It would go through the case like butter and be very controllable.

Oh and DON'T buy the carbide cutter bits. http://www.amazon.com/Dremel-9901-Tungsten-Carbide-Cutter/dp/B00004UDJJ/ref=pd_sim_hi_19 They are terrible for metal, they are impossible to control and produce an uneven cut.

I appreciate it guys, going to try out those blades. I agree that jigsaws are awesome but for this I need a more precise cutting measure.
