Thanks for the large volume of response for my video card dilemma. I think ill go for the x800 XT Pe. Because, the cards are performing so close together that the FPS will always be above 60 so the ultras extra 5-10 wont matter, and the radeon will look better overall, so its my choice.
As for RAM, im looking for what will be the fastest with the FX-55 and whatever mobo I choose ( which at this time looks to be the Asus A8V Deluxe socket 939 rather than the Abit I originally looked at moreso because I trust asus and know they are always quality.
I found a case I like the look of that should handle all of my power needs. (which saves me from ordering direct from aspire and having a 500W supply put in the X dreamer, especially because they are all out of stock.)
ASPIRE X-Navigator Silver/Black Aluminum ATX Mid-Tower Case with side window and 500W Power Supply,
It got excellent reviews from all those who bought it so I feel confident in getting this one.http://secure.newegg.com/app/CustratingReview.asp?DEPA=0&item=11-144-089
As for memory, Kingston and corsair seem sto be highly esteemed brands, but being the computer building newb that I am I dont know what the best they make is. one question is, is ther any difference in performance between having more sticks of smaller capacity or 2larger ones?
My last consideration is trying to find out if getting 2 80 GB raptors in a RAID configuration would offer a worthwile performance boost. Im also considering getting a large storage drive. The main issue right now htough is RAM.
