Draining methods??

open dump valve then open fill port or unhook pump outlet and run till empty
 
T-line with a fill-port at one end. In my old case I had the fill-port fixed to the bottom of my case, but in my 700D I just have the drain tube extending into the bottom chamber of the case. See below for photos.

open lowest point in the loop, drain, pick up computer and shake really hard to get the last drops
 
My res is hooked to a fill port, so I just disconnect the fillport connection, and turn the tubing such that the res is emptied. I'll do this a few times until the rad (high point) is drained, at which point I unhook the rad connection and blow into the tube. Whole process takes about 15 minutes.
 
Put a bowl under my reservoir, and open up the bottom and top port. The Micro-Res V2 is really versatile.
 
hold one of the tubes nice and high in the air, with a tube at the other end of your setup as low to the ground as possible preferably going into a bottle or bucket whatever you use. You can blow but be careful not to get some of that water into your mouth
 
What would be the best method for a Xspc rasa kit? I looked at a quick disconnet...I'm a noob trying to get into liquid cooling lol
 
Any of the methods mentioned above will work just fine. It depends what is most convenient for you and your case.
 
Ok, I think i might try the quick disconnect thing. I would rather just run a T and stash it behind my mobo or something then to drain open the thing and turn the pump on and let it pump everything out... Is that possible? Thanks :)
 
Yeah, that's pretty similar to what I do. With a T, as long as the drain plug is at the lowest point of your loop, you don't even need to run the pump to drain. Just unscrew the plug and gravity takes care of the rest!
