Hello altogether

I hope you all enjoy my modding project. Eventually you can criticize certain points you would have done another way.

To view to pictures you can click the following Link
To read a tutorial about all the diffrent mods i made you can click this Link. If your native language isn't German I recommend a translator.

I'd be really happy about any kind of feedback or even ideas to improve the look of the whole project.

PS: Sorry for my English but I'm from Switzerland and so German is my native language.

Nobody here who wants to post a small feedback?

So, in this case I'll tell you what I'm planing to do to "finish" the mod.
The left and the right side panel reached the final stage like the back of the tower. So there is only the front left.
What I'm planning to do is kicking out the fanbus because the electronic makes some kind of high noise and the senfu temperature-LCDs I'm going to kick too. Instead I'll make a new aluminium plate and in the top of it I'm going to integrate a 320 x 240 LCD (blue) where I can display the most important things like diffrent temperatures, voltages, free disk-space, ...

very nice! i love the dragon on the side. i might have gone with a more sudden change in color rather than the gradual change you have, but it isn't my case.

good job... perusing the tutorials now. translator? we don't need no stinkin' translator! (well, i might not. we'll see)

depending on the difficulty of making a design like that dragon, i might have to "borrow" your technique because my dremel is broken.

very nice case.

mate, that looks fantastic... Keep up your work, and get things together.. It's looking fantastic. :D

The gradual change in color was what I wanted to but I'm sure there are tons of ways to get a more sudden change.

If you want to "borrow" the technique so go on! I want to see some more mods with thousands of holes.

They don't wana help you.

Because you become a true concurent.

There are just two things i don't like on your case:
The "DragonCase"-Logo on the Frontpanel.
Not brutal enough. It is difficult to read because
of the rounded text.
Instead of "Riffelblechfolie" i would make some
"Dragonskin" (like fishskin) in chrome.
I don't know if you like, it's just an idea.

If you write the titles of your case (ocaholic - casegallery) in english,
more people wanna write to ya.

good luck from Rupi

The problem with the logo at the bottom of the front is, that you can't use "normal" letters two write "Dragon Case" because they are to big in their width. So I had to design an own signature and what you can see is the result of it. Some people like it others don't like it. To me it's like small constant annoyance because at the moment I have no idea how to improve its look.

I think the english word for "Riffelblechfolie" is serrated sheet imitation (please correct me when I'm wrong). At the moment I'm thinking about doing the job with real serrated sheet not with an imitation. But can you describe your idea with the fishskin an chrome exactlier? I don't have an imagination of your idea.

The titles are now written in English and later I'm going to add some more pics. (thanks for the tip)

Perhaps, you should add pictures from before the project happened, to create more "awe".

((my personal note, i feel like every third post i make is saying like the same thing))

@passive Anubis
Isn't the Chieftec 901 server tower a popular case in the US? If not, I'll add some pictures before I started modding.

Today I got a 320 x 240 GLCD. It's colours are blue and white (inverted) and it's the one thing I looked for a really long time to get it. Tomorrow I'll upload pictures here.
As a consequence of the GLCD I have to remake the upper part of the front, ... By the time I think, you'll see some pictures, ...
