Dpvsetup.exe error????? (Mic not Working)

Please help me out here... I`m trying to use my microphone that IS working... i just put it in my laptop and its working fine... i reinstalled my computer and now its not... i went to test hard ware and i got dpvsetup.exe ....

I went to this site http://www.smartcomputing.com/edito...rdList=DPVSETUP.EXE&bJumpTo=True#DPVSETUP.EXE

and i did what it says and nothing happened...
any advice please? "Mature ones"
